The Willys was added as the Wrangler 4xe’s entry-level trim for the 2023 model year. Named after the Willys Jeep MB, which was provided to the U.S. Army and allied forces during World War II, the Willys captures the brand’s heritage with a rugged look and the capability to back it up. The Willys tackles tough terrain with a locking rear differential, high-strength steel skid plates, cab rock rails, and FOX shock absorbers. The Willys stands out among the lineup with the military-styled ‘Willys’ decal on either side of the hood and the ‘Electric 4-Wheel Drive’ decal on the rear swing gate. Inside the Wrangler Willys 4xe, you’ll discover a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button ignition, all-weather floor mats, and a nine-speaker Alpine premium audio system.

The Wrangler Sahara was introduced to the Jeep lineup in 1997 and has been one of the most popular Wrangler trims ever since. It offers more exterior style with LED lighting, Lagoon Blue tow hooks, heated/power-adjustable side mirrors, 20-inch alloy wheels, a body-color grille, body-color fender flares, and remote proximity keyless entry. Meanwhile, the interior gains more comfort and convenience with dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and built-in navigation.

The Wrangler Rubicon joined the Jeep lineup in 2003, taking the already capable Wrangler to new heights. This legacy continues with the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe, featuring added skid plates, high-clearance fender flares, 33-inch all-terrain tires, rock rails, and FOX shock absorbers. The Rubicon trim also adds an electronically disconnecting front sway bar. At the push of a button, drivers can disconnect the sway bar to create greater wheel articulation in the front to easily pass over rocks, logs, and other obstacles. Rock-Trac 4×4 is also exclusive to the Rubicon trim. Rock-Trac features a transfer case with a low-range gear ratio of just 4:1. Meaning that when the transfer case is in 4-Low mode, the wheels will turn once with every four turns of the transmission output shaft. This provides higher low-end torque at low speeds to improve crawling control. Lastly, the Rubicon adds locking front and rear differentials to drive all four wheels at the same speed at the flip of a switch.

Rounding out the well-equipped Wrangler 4xe lineup is the High Altitude trim. The Wrangler High Altitude 4xe stands out with a premium full body-color outward form, featuring a body-color hardtop with available Sky OneTouch power top, body-color fender flares, body-color door handles, and body-color side mirrors with built-in turn signals. The High Altitude trim also features 20-inch alloy wheels with an exclusive look, blindspot monitoring, and rear parking sensors.
