What Do the Jeep® Compass Dash Lights Mean in Greensburg, PA?

No matter what car model you drive it’s never a good sign if a light on the dashboard flashes on. Let’s have a look specifically at the 2020 Jeep® compass dashboard lights. Knowing what each of the icon means will help you understand the underlying issue.
Jeep Compass Indicator Lights
The indicator lights tell you which of the car’s system is activated at the moment.
- Forward Collision – the icon depicts two cars headed towards each other. This warns you of a possible frontal collision.
- Forward Collision Warning Off – This icon also shows two cars headed towards each other and also has the word “off” below the cars. This indicates that the forward collision warning is not on.
- 4WD Low – The icon 4WD LOW in all caps indicates the SUV is set in 4-wheel-drive
Jeep Compass Warning Lights
- Oil Pressure – The icon appears as an oil can and is a warning of low engine oil pressure.
- Low Fuel – This appears as a fuel pump and is a warning that fuel level is below two gallons.
- Anti-Lock Brake – The letters ABS will appear in caps and indicate a problem with the anti-lock braking position.
- Tire Pressure Monitoring – If you see a circle with an exclamation point inside, then at least one tire is below the recommended psi.
If any of these warning lights come on, pull over to the side of the road when safe to do so or find a parking lot. Call AAA or your local tow company.
